The Neutrino Donut, LLC recently completed a commercialization assessment relating to web bot technologies. We reviewed technology collaboration opportunities as they related to bot usage, bot blocking, and malicious use of bots. The technologies – used for benign(?) marketing efforts have been re-purposed for more nefarious uses. The Donut became aware of more LinkedIn requests while researching this project, as companies targeted for research used their own products on their own web sites.
